Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Lettergesh East stands on a small hill above the pass between Lough Fee and Lough Muc. Its oval cashel measures 24.5 metres east-southeast to west-northwest and 15.9 metres north-east to south-west, with a much-collapsed drystone wall and a possible entrance at the south-east. Traces of a semicircular hut abut the inner wall at the south-south-west, suggesting someone once lived inside what locals still call a fairy fort.
