What is recorded here

Knockaphreaghaun holds a stone ringfort, a circular cashel built by human hands in County Clare. The stones still stand in a tight ring, marking a place where people lived, worked and perhaps fled during storms or danger. It is not a fairy creation, though local story may dress it that way. The fort is a human shelter, shaped by time and memory into something that feels like a small world kept alive.
