Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Cuilleenirwan is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Cuilleenirwan, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures twenty-two point seven metres north-east to south-west and twenty-two metres north-west to south-east. A stone wall one point one to one point four metres wide and zero point two to zero point four metres high defines the perimeter without a recognisable entrance. Two field walls attach to the north-east and north-west edges on the south-east-facing slope.
Visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 471-2) and situated on a SE-facing slope with karst outcrop. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 22.7m NE-SW; 22m NW-SE) defined by the base of a stone wall (Wth 1.1-1.4m; H 0.2-0.4m) with no recognisable entrance. A NE-SW field wall of field system (RO047-044002-) is attached to the perimeter at NE and another at NW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
