On the summit of Fair Hill, which is a prominent rise on a NNW-SSE esker ridge. Limestone shaft with chamfered angles (dims 0.36m x 0.28m; H 1.55m) facing E and W but lacking decoration or inscription. It is set into a limestone base (dims. 1m x 0.8m; H 0.35m) with chamfered upper edges. The base is surrounded by the remains of a rectangular stone setting (dims c. 2m x c. 2m). Rath (RO047-027----) is c. 150m to the N, and moated site (RO047-028----) is c. 180m to the E.
