Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Cloonoughter, a circular dry-stone enclosure about 30 metres across, stood on the north-facing brow of an east-west ridge in County Limerick. It was levelled around 1970 during land reclamation, leaving only loose stones and dumped field-clearance material where the wall once stood. The conifers planted to the south and the flattened ground suggest the site gave way to human utility, yet the lost circle still marks a place where people shaped the landscape before forgetting its name.

In rough pasture, on N-facing brow of E-W ridge; land immediately to S recently planted with coniferous trees. Monument, depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. According to local information enclosing element was dry-stone built and was levelled c. 1970 during land reclamation. Area now strewn with loose stones and dumps of field-clearance material.
