What is recorded here

Half-hidden beneath a field bank, the Garrafine ringfort holds a subcircular shadow thirty-three metres across. Its northern edge still rises as a pale bank while the rest has surrendered to grass and forgetting. People may have circled it, marked it, or simply walked past it after the shape faded. What remains is not a monument but a rhythm of earth, waiting for someone to notice the difference between a boundary and a line drawn across it.
