Fairy fort in Tonmoyle, County Galway, holds two earthen banks and a cut fosse across level grassland above southern bogland. The inner bank runs from southeast through south to southwest, while the outer bank survives only in a shorter southern arc, leaving the rest of the circle implied rather than completed. A field bank has cut through the northeast and southeast, erasing what once stood beyond that line. The shape still reads as a chamber, threshold, or excluded room more often than as a dead ruin.

In level grassland overlooking bogland to S. Well-preserved subcircular rath (E-W 52m, N-S 50.5m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank survives from SE through S to SW; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The outer bank survives only from SSE through S to SW. A field bank cuts the monument at NE and SE, to E of which no visible surface trace survives.
