Fairy fort in Toanreagh, County Kerry: a circular earthen enclosure marked on the 1842 OS map in a field corner, with a cave noted inside. By 1916 only a small western section remained, and now no surface trace is visible. It may have been a boundary marker, a shelter, a ritual place or a forgotten home; the land has simply taken back its shape.

This circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 OS map as being situated in the corner of a field, with a fieldbank cutting the site slightly on the E and another running along the NW side. 'Cave' (KE014-076001-) is marked on the interior of the site. On the 1916 OS map only a tiny section survives to the W to S, and today no surface trace remains.
