Situated on top of a natural in undulating grassland with boundary of Turin R. C. Chapel built on E quadrant of ringfort as depicted on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map. A stream located 35m to S marks the townland boundary with Killynan. Remains consist of a slightly raised sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 42m NW-SE) enclosed by a low earthen bank and shallow external fosse. The bank is fragmentary (H 1.2m), and the fosse is best preserved from SW-W. The grounds of the R. C. Chapel have cut across the E quadrant of the monument, removing the perimeter and part of the interior from NE-SE (CUCAP BDV086). The interior of the ringfort is level and contains traces of four possible hut sites (WM013-089001-/089002-/089003-/089004-) and a possible collapsed Man-made underground passage (WM013-089005-). A fairy fort in Tevrin is an earthen ringfort, likely dating to the early medieval period, used as a defensive or agricultural settlement.
