Fairy fort in Slieveroe, County Galway: a worn earthen ring on a sun-facing grass slope, partly eaten by quarrying. Local memory speaks of a hidden tunnel beneath a limestone slab inside the circle. That vanished chamber sounds like a chamber built for privacy, ceremony or fear, not a casual hole.

On a S-facing slope in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W c. 43m, N-S c. 40m) defined by a scarp and external fosse. No visible surface trace survives from W to N where quarrying has encroached upon the monument. According to local information, there was a 'tunnel' (possible Man-made underground passage) within the interior, beneath a large limestone slab. No visible surface trace survives.
