What is recorded here
Freestanding single-cell three-bay Church of Ireland church, built c.1830. Later altered for use as garage, now derelict. Pitched replacement corrugated-iron roof, west gable now very altered. East gable retains decoratively carved kneelers and parapet. Walls of even courses of squared limestone with raised quoins. Upper part of west gable replaced with mass concrete. Lancet windows to side walls have chamfered architraves and some original leaded glazing. Points of west windows removed and squared off and triple lancet east window blocked up.
This unusally small Church of Ireland church building displays many fine architectural details. Although later deconsecrated and altered for use as garage, the building is of obvious architectural and social historical importance.
