Skarragh held a thirty-five metre earthen ring on a gentle north-facing slope before ploughs and patience erased it. Bowman identified the lost shape in W. O'Callaghan's land in 1934, preserving the memory of a boundary that no longer stands. The fairies may have taken the trench back into dream, leaving behind only a faint scar and a field that still remembers being enclosed.
