What is recorded here

On the gentle SW-facing slope of a drumlin. Described in 1952 as a circular area (diam. 45m N-S; 44m E-W) defined by an earthen bank which was best preserved N-E, with a fosse NW-E-SE and an entrance at NW (NMI file). It is now visible as a circular grass-covered area (diam. 45m E-W; 44m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 5.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.2m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 3.2m; Wth of base 2.1m; D 0.3m) NNW-NE, and by a scarp (H 0.8-1m) elsewhere. Rath (RO018-015----) is c. 170m to the NNE.
