Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cartron (hartland), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a circular overgrown area thirty-eight metres across on a gentle east-facing slope, remaining unplanted within a coniferous forest. An earthen bank and outer fosse define the boundary, though no visible entrance appears. Another rath sits about one hundred and fifty metres to the west.
On a gentle E-facing slope of a broad hill. Circular overgrown area (diam. 38m N-S), which remains unplanted in a coniferous forest, defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.9-1.1m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 3.3m; Wth of base 1.8m; D 0.5-0.6m). There is no visible entrance. Rath (RO017-114----) is c. 150m to the W.
