In improved pasture, on an E-facing slope, immediately W of a curving 400ft contour. An oval area (dims. 44m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by the remains of a bank (overall Wth 11.8m; Wth at top 1.8m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.2m) SW-W-N which is best preserved in the SW quadrant and is reduced to scarp (Wth 2.35m; H 1.05m) from N-E-SW. The bank is breached by cattle intermittently from NW-N-NNE. An outer fosse (overall Wth 3m; basal Wth 1m; D 0.15m) is visible from WNW-N-ENE and is barely traceable from S-W-WNW. There is an entrance (Wth 3.75m) at S. The interior slopes to the E. The corner of a field boundary runs into the fosse in the S quadrant.
