South Galway sun still warms the broken ring where a field wall now crosses ancient earth. The fort keeps its northern bank and eastern ditch while modern traffic opened a southern gap, reducing a life-sized home to a shallow smile in the grass. What is missing has not stopped the place holding its shape: a room without walls, waiting for someone to remember how large the outline was.

On a S-facing slope in otherwise level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (N-S 40m) defined by a bank and external fosse. The bank is present at N and from ESE through S to W; the fosse survives from NNW through E to SSE. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. A field wall overlies the enclosing elements from NNE to E. Gap at S appears modern.
