Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Pollacorragune

Pollacorragune held a thirty-five metre ringfort above low pasture, visible only as a faint ridge before the land claimed it back. The name suggests people once doubted human authorship, pushing the structure into fairy legend because ordinary explanation failed them. That doubt is not nonsense; it is memory losing its facts.
