Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Moytirra West is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Moytirra West, County Sligo, Ireland. The slightly raised circular area sits in undulating rocky pasture and measures 34 metres north-south by 35 metres east-west. An earth and stone bank defines the southern and western edges while a slight scarp marks the northern and eastern sides. A drystone wall replaces part of the bank on the east and south-east, and the level interior remains clear of overgrowth.
In undulating rocky pasture. A slightly raised roughly circular area (34m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.8m) SSE-N and by a slight scarp N-E.The bank has been replaced by a drystone wall E-SSE. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth. A relict field boundary (L 20m; Wth top 0.8m; Wth base 2m; H 0.4m) abuts the external face of the bank at S and a drystone field wall abuts the bank at N.
