Monanimy Upper once held a twenty-metre earthen ringfort on a north-facing slope, visible only through hachures on an 1842 map before ploughing erased it. The loss transforms the site into a phantom chamber where forgotten hands may have shaped soil, faced storms, and vanished beneath ordinary farm work.

In tillage, on N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace.
