Fairy fort in Lurgan Great is a ruined earthen ring on a ridge in County Galway. What remains measures twenty-four metres one way and seventeen the other, shaped by two banks and a ditch between them. The northern, eastern and southern parts have disappeared, leaving only a broken circle above ordinary grassland. People may have lived there, excluded others, or marked the ridge before the earth took the shape back.

On a ridge summit in otherwise level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 24m, NW-SE 17m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse.
