No entrance appears anywhere, suggesting the circle closed completely around whoever lived inside. The ridge commands a wide view, allowing occupants to watch every approaching path while remaining hidden within the earthen wall. Fairy fort is a playful misreading of human ambition: people built an unbreakable ring on high ground and left no door for others to force open.

Situated on a ridge with excellent view of countryside. A circular area (diam. c. 32.6m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.5m) and external fosse (Wth c. 3.2m). No evidence of original entrance.
