Fairy fort in Lissycrimeen, County Cork: a circular earthwork, 32.5m by 34m, with a 1.2m bank, 1.6m scarp, shallow fosse and an underground passage inside. It stands in rolling pasture, partly stone-faced, ancient enough to belong before maps or memory. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped there; the fairies, according to local story, took it back.

In rolling pasture land. Circular area (32.5m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) NE->WNW; scarp (H 1.6m) WNW->NE; external fosse (D 0.7m) E->W. Bank and scarp stone faced in parts.
