Fairy fort in Lissard, County Cork: a 45m earthen ring on an SSE-facing pasture slope, its 1.6m bank and partial 1.5m ditch still marking an old boundary. A laneway has cut through the SE edge, reducing the circle to a broken hoop beside ordinary traffic. People may have lived, hidden or ritually excluded others there before the road took part of the form.

In pasture, on SSE-facing slope. Circular area (45m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.6m); external fosse (D 1.5m) SSW->NW, filled in NW->NNE. Laneway running NNE-SSW truncates SE edge of site.
