Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort in Lisnananagh, County Cavan: an almost circular raised area about 40.5m across, enclosed by two earthen banks with a wide intermediate fosse. The outer bank has been much modified and incorporated into the field boundary, and the original entrance is no longer recognisable. Such rings were lived-in places, not fantasy markers: shelter, status and memory made visible in earth.
