Knockagarry holds a broken earthen ring on a south-facing slope, its shallow bank and ditch still marking a circular home or exclusion zone from the ancient past. Cattle graze the grassy interior today, unaware that the gap facing north-northwest may have been an entrance, a wound, or simply the place where the earth gave up. The fort is small enough to walk in minutes yet large enough to keep someone inside or out, which is all a boundary needs to do.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (43m E-W; 42m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m) and external fosse (max. D 0.7m). Break in bank to NNW (Wth 7m); gaps to SSE and S.
