What is recorded here

Kilnafurrery holds a broken circular scar thirty-six metres wide, its eastern edge rising two metres above the pasture while the western side fades into a shallow lip. The landowner remembers an underground passage beneath the soil, now infilled and invisible, suggesting the fort hid more than its visible rim. That much is clear: people shaped the hill, built a boundary, and later erased the entry. The fairies keep the rest.

In pasture, on break in slope c. 150m from stream to E. Circular area (35.5m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by scarp, highest on downslope to E (H c. 2m), lower elsewhere (H 1m). Very slight traces of fosse visible. Landowner recalls Man-made underground passage (CO046-053002-), now infilled.
