Half-hidden under bramble and grass, the ringfort in Killeedy South still holds its shape: a rough circle of earth and scarped bank, wide enough for a small house and busy hands. It is the kind of place people once lived, loved, argued and forgot, while later stories called it a fairy fort because the truth had slipped away. What is left is not decoration but distance, a room built by human labour that time has half-swallowed.

In pasture. Roughly circular area (c. 40m N-S; c. 36m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 2.7m) NE->NW and defined by a scarped edge (H 1.9m; Wth 6.8m) NW->NE, with external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.75m) NE->NNW. Outer edge of fosse has recently been re-cut at NE.
