Half a circle of earth and stone still stands where a complete ring once enclosed at least twenty-five metres of interior. The western edge has fallen into Dingle Bay, leaving only the northeastern bank and a deep northern ditch to mark what the sea took. Cultivation ridges cross the inside, suggesting people farmed the same ground where the fort first stood. The cliff is not finished eating it.

Internal diam. at least 25m This univallate rath is perched on the edge of the sea-cliffs that border the N side of Dingle Bay, W of the Inch peninsula. It was shown on the 1st edition of the OS map as a circular enclosure, but all but the NE part of the site has now fallen into the sea. The fosse is present only around the N side of the present remains. It increases considerably in depth as it approaches the narrow inlet or gorge to W of the site. At N it is 2.2m deep below the external ground level and 3.7m below the crest of the bank. The bank is a maximum of 2.95m high above the interior, but its E half is much less impressive than the N half, being only c. 1m high. The stone facing on the outer face of the bank in the E sector is probably a late feature related to the secondary use of the site for cultivation purposes; the interior is occupied by N-S cultivation ridges.
