No doorway remains in the 54-metre clay circle at Gorteennameale, only a broken bank and wide ditch that exclude every human entering the space. The missing gate transforms an ordinary farmholding into a living trap, forcing imagination to complete what erosion erased.

A subcircular area (diam. c. 54m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 4.3m, ext. H c. 1.8m) except at NE-SE and external fosse (Wth c. 6m). Best preserved at N-NE. No evidence of original entrance.
