No, that is not a fairy fort. It is a human ringfort: a shallow circular bank, about twenty-four metres across, set in pasture on the steep north-eastern slope above the Delehinagh River in Glenaglogh South, County Cork. Conifers now grow inside the circle, but the thin earthen edge still marks where people shaped the land into a small enclosed place. The fairy name may be local mockery, wonder or forgetting; the shape is plainly made for human life.
In pasture, on edge of steep NE-facing slope down to Delehinagh River. Circular area (diam. 24m) defined by low earthen bank (H 0.3m). Interior planted with coniferous trees.
