What is recorded here

Mortons and others have turned this quiet oval into a familiar local marker. The distinction between a human fort and a fairy fort is less important than the fact that the place still invites attention. The field remembers that boundary, and people keep returning to it because the shape is easy to see and easier to believe.

In pasture. Oval area (diam. 24m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.4m). Possible Man-made underground passage (9034) in interior.
