That is the only clear fact in the supplied material. The claim needs a visible underground passage, but the material describes an ordinary village office and never mentions a hidden chamber or tunnel. I will not invent that part of the story.
In W side of ringfort (8312). Hartnett (1939, 58) noted that 'one large roofing slab is exposed and from surface indications, the chamber ran in a N.E. direction'. No visible surface trace.
