Drumhawnagh holds a substantial earthen ringfort with a thirty-three-metre diameter, its deep waterlogged fosse and modified bank still shaping the local field boundary. The original entrance has vanished beneath soil and time, leaving the circular home without a visible door. People may have lived inside this strange threshold, waiting for others to appear from the darkness rather than entering through a known path.

Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 33m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank modified and incorporated into the field boundary and a wide, deep, partially waterlogged fosse.
