Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Currahchase, County Limerick, Ireland. A forgotten circle where human hands shaped earth before forgetting its name. The land kept the shape long after people stopped seeing it.
Situated on the demesne lands of Currah Chase Ho. (LI011-119----), located 870m to S. Now situated in deciduous forest, part of Currahchase Park. Monument, depicted on 1841 OS 6-inch map as ovoid -shaped area (int. diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a bank. Not depicted on subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. Levelled monument not visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
