What is recorded here

Half a ring of earth still stands in Currahaly pasture, forty metres wide and cut by a road that forgot it existed. The northern bank rises forty centimetres above the grass, a shallow ridge marking the ghost of a wall that once enclosed human life. The southern half has been levelled to nothing, its rampart erased by carts and time. What remained is enough to prove the circle was real, though no longer whole.

In pasture. Remains of circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map, cut by roadway running E-W. Arc (NW->NE) formed by earthen bank (H 0.4m) survives to N of roadway.
