Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Curragh (duhallow By., Clonfert Par.) occupies a west-facing slope in County Cork. Its earthen bank still stands one point two metres high on the outside, enclosing thirty-five and a half metres of pasture now planted with deciduous trees. A shallow fosse cuts the northeast and southeast, while the south and west bank has been levelled where a demesne wall passes outside. The interior rises slightly on the west to balance the hillslope, suggesting whoever built it wanted the ground inside to feel even when the land itself leaned.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (35.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 1.2m) W->S; fosse (D 0.6m) NE->SE. Bank levelled S->W where demesne wall runs outside enclosure to SW. Interior planted with deciduous trees; raised on W side to compensate for hillslope.
