Cruary West holds a massive earthen ring, sixty-five metres across, where a hidden underground passage still cuts through the grass. People called it a fairy fort because the dark tunnel defied human reason, yet the heavy bank and stone facing prove deliberate craft. The boundary between made and magical collapses when a chamber hides beneath ordinary pasture, waiting for someone brave enough to enter.

In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Circular area (65m N-S; 66m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.5m), stone faced in parts; external fosse (D 0.8m). Entrance (Wth 2m) to NE with causeway; modern gap to E (Wth 2m). Man-made underground passage (CO135-063002-) in interior.
