What is recorded here
On a NE-facing slope in pasture. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 34m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.2m; H 0.4m) with an intervening fosse (Wth 3.7m; D 0.4-1m) and traces of an outer bank (Wth 2.9m; H 0.4m). The fosse is identifiable from WSW-N-NE and the outer bank is only visible at S. A break (Wth 1.8m) in the inner bank at NW with traces of a possible accompanying causeway may mark the original entrance.
