What is recorded here

Clooncon East holds a broken circular fort on an east-facing slope, its earth scarped and cut by later field banks. The surviving northwest bank still marks the shape of a place where people once drew a line between inside and outside. The fairies may have taken the rest, but the grass remembers the pressure of human hands.

On an E-facing slope in undulating grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 32m) defined by a bank and external fosse. The bank is present at NW; elsewhere a degraded scarp forms the enclosing element. A field bank cuts the monument at NNW and SSW.
