Fairy fort in Clonrobin, County Cork: a 30-metre earthen ring on a west-facing pasture slope, its bank partly swallowed by fences. Bowman measured about thirty-two yards across in 1934, but only fifteen yards of circuit still stood proud; the rest has flattened into the field’s quiet line. A rectangular enclosure waits a hundred metres north, and the land keeps both shapes without explaining itself.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (30m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.4m) SSE->WNW; low scarp elsewhere. Surviving bank incorporated into field fence system. No visible surface trace of lime kiln marked inside WNW bank on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 413-14) as 'single-ramparted' fort (diam. c. 32yd) on Mr Clifford's land, with only 15yd of circuit standing. Rectangular enclosure (CO023-025---) lies c. 100m to N.
