Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Castleforbes Demesne

No visible entrance; the southern bank simply thins into a low scarp where the ditch fades. That is the whole of it: a thirty-two metre circle of earth and stone in level pasture, unmarked and unbroken. The fairies never built doors because they do not leave the way people do. They go through the places people stop seeing. The fort has no gate because it has no inside. It is a hole in the world shaped like a room, waiting for someone stupid enough to walk through.
