What is recorded here
On a slight rise in low-lying pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) noted that this raised circular area (diam. c. 24m) was enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. It is defined by a scarp (H 1.2m) with a shallow fosse (Wth 2.5-3m; D 0.3-0.6m). The original entrance is not recognisable. It is densely overgrown with vegetation.
