Fairy forts are not fairy forts. They are human ringforts, misnamed because people stopped remembering the humans who built them. Boleynanoultagh is one of those: a circular earthwork in pasture, its bank stone-faced like the fences around it, its entrance blocked by a later wall. The fairness is a costume thrown over forgotten people.

In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Roughly circular area (35m E-W; 32m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.4m), with external fosse (D 0.5m) W->ENE. Bank stone faced, both internally and externally, similar to surrounding field fences. Break in bank to NE blocked by stone wall.
