Bealkelly holds a true ringfort, yet local people call it a fairy fort because the border between human history and fantasy collapses there. Earth and memory build the same shape, while witness and desire keep arguing about what lives inside. The field does not need to choose one meaning, since transformation and memory are both at home in Clonbeg.
