Fairy fort in Bawnfune, County Cork: a 33.5m circular enclosure on a WNW-facing pasture slope, with earthen bank, stone wall and shallow external fosse. People may have lived there, excluded others, marked territory or simply repeated an old shape of belonging. The measurement makes the claim visible: a small place, deliberately bounded, still readable in the land.

In pasture, on WNW-facing slope. Circular area (33.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.3m) WNW->SE; stone wall (H 1.3m; Wth 1.5m) S->W; external fosse (D 0.3m) to E.
