Fairy fort in Ballymacsliney is a circular earthwork about thirty metres across, enclosed by a bank just over a metre high. The interior rises on one side and cuts into the slope on the other, balancing the tilt of the land. Gaps mark the east and northwest, perhaps entrances or merely places where the bank gave way. cattle graze around it now, unaware they circle an old room shaped for human life.

In pasture, on ESE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m). Gaps in bank to E and NW. Interior raised on ESE side and cut into higher ground on WNW side to compensate for hillslope; overgrown.
