What is recorded here
No visible entrance, no standing wall, no empty circle. Dense vegetation hides the ring, while two earthen banks and a broken outer ditch mark a small defended place in pasture. The completed inner bank and fading southern trace suggest people shaped, used and then abandoned the ground.
In undulating pasture, at foot of N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks and an external fosse. Entire enclosure is covered by dense overgrowth. Inner bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.9m) survives its full circuit but outer bank (int. H 2.6m) and external fosse (D 1.7m; Wth 2.4m) replaced by field boundary WNW->SE. Extending SW from edge of enclosure in low linear bank (H 0.25m; Wth 4m) travelling 14m before turning at right angle to NW and running a further 4m before petering out.
