In undulating pasture, on N-facing slope. Oval area (19m N-S; 15m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 5m; Wth 14m) NE->SE, and enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.65m) with external fosse (D 0.7m; Wth 1.2m) S->NE. Bank is truncated by E-W field boundary SE->S. Interior level and under grass except for slight dip inside bank S->W which is covered in rushes. Immediately beyond field boundary to E is ringfort (LI017-030---) probably conjoined with this one.
