Fairy forts are earthen rings built by humans, often occupied before they fell empty. In Ballinclemesig, a circular enclosure marked on the 1842 map has been cut back by a fieldbank on its south side. No surface trace remains visible today, but the ring may still lie beneath grass, soil or forgotten footpaths.
This circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 OS map and is cut slightly on the S side by a fieldbank. It lies E of KE014-040---- and no surface trace can be seen today.
