What is recorded here

No human ever breathed inside An Saighleán. The fairies built it during one feverish night, measured it with shadow and forgot to leave a door. Humans saw the finished ring, assumed they understood it, and walked past. The fairies still live there, crowded and proud, refusing to explain why a doorless chamber is a complete home.

In level grassland. Overgrown but well-preserved subcircular rath (N-S 45.5m, E-W 38m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank is present from SW through W to N where it is overlain by a field wall. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. An animal pen in built into the enclosing elements at ENE.
